Quantum Energy Glass delivers glass and glazing across the Pacific Northwest for multifamily, condominium, single-family, and commercial clients. The company was founded by Kate Gralton with a focus on commercial glazing and related general contracting capabilities across Western Washington—backed by her 18+ years in complex construction and service businesses. We combine technical expertise with a commitment to quality and schedule — the same standards the region's leading contractors demand.
As a certified Women-Owned Business (WBE), we bring diversity and capability to every project. Our team is trained on the latest installation practices, safety protocols, and energy-efficient systems. We are a PSE Trade Ally and members of the Washington Glass Association and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
WBE & DBE Certified · W2F0031050Much of our early pipeline came through the PSE Trade Ally program — real leads and conversations with owners and efficiency-focused work across the region. Washington State WBE certification is a recent milestone, and it has already opened doors with major general contractors. We are actively estimating and bidding, including opportunities with firms such as GLY Construction, Clark Construction, and Skanska. In the interest of transparency: we have not yet been awarded a project with those contractors; certification is new, proposals are in motion, and we are working to turn that interest into partnered work. From curtain wall and storefronts to energy services, windows, and custom glazing, we also support condo associations, developers, and homeowners with residential glazing needs.

Katherine ("Kate") Gralton — Founder & Owner
Kate Gralton brings 18+ years in construction, roofing, and general contracting to Quantum Energy Glass. She founded the business, sharpening focus on commercial glazing and general contracting across Western Washington. The company is a certified Women-Owned Business (WBE) and PSE Trade Ally, with active bids and teaming discussions underway with leading regional GCs including GLY Construction, Clark Construction, and Skanska.
Kate leads from the field as much as the office — bidding, estimating, and partnering with the glaziers union while running the full sales cycle. Under her leadership, the company has built disciplined operating systems across finance, estimating, project management, and field operations.
She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, is a licensed thermographer and private pilot, and is an active member of WACAI (Washington State Chapter).
Bob Tatum — Project Manager
Bob Tatum brings over 50 years in the window and glass industry to Quantum Energy Glass, where he serves as Project Manager. He joined the team in March 2026 and oversees field execution, schedule, and quality across commercial and residential glazing projects.
His half-century in the trade spans every system the company installs — curtain wall, storefronts, custom glazing, and energy-efficient windows — and that depth shows up in cleaner submittals, sharper crew coordination, and fewer surprises on site.
Olivia Kaiser — Administrative Assistant
Olivia Kaiser graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Business Management. As Administrative Assistant at Quantum Energy Glass, she manages scheduling, coordinates meetings, and supports administrative projects. Her background in project coordination, operations, and client-facing roles allows her to keep day-to-day processes organized and running efficiently.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, creating art, and spending time outdoors. She values learning and brings creativity, collaboration, and attention to detail to both her personal and professional life.
